We, FNDT GmbH, are an internationally active and leading engineering consultancy and measurement technology company based in Melk, Austria, providing technical solutions in the fields of structural stability inspections for single-shaft poles and structural calculations for modified load conditions on steel and aluminium poles.

With the establishment of FNDT GmbH – “Fonatsch Non Destructive Testing”, Managing Director Marie-Luise Fonatsch took an important step in expanding the service portfolio of the family-owned Fonatsch GmbH.

FNDT GmbH and VCE Vienna Consulting Engineers ZT GmbH have entered into a long-term strategic partnership for measurement-based structural stability inspections of poles, particularly lighting poles, using the LIMOS® testing method.

As an engineering consultancy headquartered in Vienna, VCE developed the LIMOS® testing procedure and has been carrying out measurement-based structural stability inspections on all types of poles worldwide for approximately 20 years.

Fonatsch GmbH is one of Austria’s leading family-owned manufacturers of high-quality lighting poles, traffic signal systems, floodlight poles, flagpoles, design poles, and customised solutions. The establishment of FNDT GmbH represents another important milestone in expanding the service portfolio of Fonatsch GmbH.

In the future, FNDT GmbH will offer LIMOS® inspections throughout Austria and carry out on-site structural stability inspections for all types of poles. We are convinced that our services make an important contribution to improving safety in public spaces.
